Senior Services
WICAP's Homemaker services are designed to provide or assist with selected household tasks. An assessment of the customer is completed to determine needs based on health. Afterwards, a service plan is written to outline the tasks that the customer cannot do for themselves. We encourage our customers to continue doing as much as they can for themselves to maintain their independence.
Eligibility
In order to be eligible for Homemaker services, a person must be 60 years of age. They must live within our service area, live alone, or with a spouse or family member who is disabled.
Cost of Services
Cost to the customer is on a sliding fee scale, depending upon their income. Medical expenses are deducted from the income. Income guidelines change on a yearly basis. If you have any questions about the guidelines, please contact our Senior Coordinator at 888-618-5459. Those who fall under the income guidelines are not expected to pay. We do, however, accept voluntary donations.
Caring Staff
WICAP staff is closely supervised and given training on cleaning techniques. All Homemakers are required to be certified with CPR and First Aid. WICAP staff is caring people, who work very hard to provide the best possible services and support for our customers.
